HSE Scotland Issues Business Plan

For the very first time, HSE Scotland has published a separate plan for Scotland in recognition of the importance placed upon ensuring their work – to create safer, healthier workplaces – is specifically tailored to the needs of Scotland.
The forward to the business plan explains:

“The Scotland Business Plan is very closely linked to the overall plan for Great Britain and shares the same structure and objectives. In many key areas of our work we have common resources and expertise which help to make Great Britain as a whole one of the safest places to work in the world. Where the plan varies is in the local initiatives and the specific targeting derived from our work with Scottish stakeholders and partners, and our understanding of the profile of Scotland’s employment market.”
